Booking Flights with eDreams

If you are looking to compare multiple airlines quickly, eDreams can be a helpful tool when booking flights. The platform allows you to search different routes, dates, and airlines all in one place, making it easier to spot competitive fares. I like using it to get a broad overview of pricing options before finalizing a booking. Just be sure to double-check baggage policies, seat selection fees, and cancellation terms before confirming sometimes booking directly with the airline can offer more flexibility. Used strategically, eDreams can be a convenient way to find deals and streamline your flight search.

Booking Flights with Google Flights

One of my favorite tools for finding flight deals is Google Flights. It’s incredibly easy to use and lets you compare multiple airlines, dates, and routes in seconds. I love the flexible date feature and price calendar — it makes it simple to spot the cheapest days to fly. You can also set up price alerts to track fare changes and book when the price drops. While Google Flights doesn’t always handle the booking directly (it usually redirects you to the airline or an online travel agency, it’s one of the best starting points for finding the best possible deal.

Booking Flights with Skiplagged

If you’re hunting for ultra-cheap airfare, Skiplagged is a tool worth knowing about. It’s best known for finding “hidden city” ticketing deals — flights where your layover city is actually your intended destination, often at a lower price than booking a direct flight. It can uncover some seriously impressive savings, especially on domestic routes. That said, it’s important to understand the rules before booking. Hidden city tickets typically can’t be used with checked bags, and airlines don’t officially support this strategy. If you’re traveling light and understand the risks, Skiplagged can be a powerful way to save money on flights.

Booking Flights with Skyscanner

Skyscanner is one of my go-to tools when I am starting the flight search process. It compares hundreds of airlines and travel agencies at once, making it easy to see the best prices available for your route. I especially love the “Everywhere” search feature it’s perfect if you’re flexible and just want to find the cheapest destination from your home airport. You can also view an entire month of fares to quickly spot the lowest travel dates. While you will usually complete your booking through the airline or a third-party site, Skyscanner is an excellent first stop for finding great flight deals.

Booking Flights with ITA Matrix

If you really want to level up your flight search game, ITA Matrix is a powerful tool to have in your back pocket. Created by the same technology that powers many airline search engines, ITA Matrix lets you dig deep into fare rules, routing options, and advanced filters that most booking sites don’t show. It is especially helpful if you’re flexible with airports, want to explore complex routes, or are trying to maximize points and mileage runs. Keep in mind, you cannot book directly through ITA Matrix but once you find the perfect flight, you can take those details and book through the airline or another platform. It is a favorite among seasoned travelers who love having full control over their flight search
